Aslan is something like 99.5% CG. That means that one of the main characters just isn't there. Susan and Lucy have to bury their hands in his mane, Peter has to be knighted by him, and in all of this Aslan is thin air.
I'm a little apprehensive of this and the children's abilities to act with awe, wonder, and love toward a character when they have nothing to work off of.

I was just thinking about the same thing the other day... It seems hard to act like something's there when nothing really is...

Yes someone agrees with me. I was afraid someone would tell me that they simply have to imagine it and if they can they're that much better actors, blah blah blah, lol. I'm not alone in my apprehension.

Well, they probably had somthing, whether it's just an actor, or a makeshift aslan, that will be taken out and totaly cg'd.

Well Lord of the Rings had several things that were cg'd and they still pulled it off. Or in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I wouldn't worry about it.

I saw a couple short sequences of Andy, but when he was chasing the fish down the stream, that was the best one. The water was freezing, poor Andy.
